GEX is the trading name for The Games Exchange Ltd. We originally started way back in early 90’s. Born on car boot stalls and then market stalls selling music cassettes, CD's and VHS Video (before your time maybe?)

Along the way we added DVD and began to include video games for which we offered a trade in option for our customers.

We opened our first shop in Flint in September 1999; it was small and compact but big enough for starting out.

We opened our second store in Rhyl in October 2002. In October 2007 we moved the store into larger premises.

Our third store opened in April 2013 at Colwyn Bay a little further down the Welsh coast.

After 23 Years on the High St our last store pictured above closed in Feb 2022.

We are now dedicated to bringing our services purely online.
